Lagos Murtala Muhammed International Airport is situated at Ikeja, 14 miles northwest of the city. Flying time from London to Lagos MM airport is about 7.5 hours. There are daily connecting flights from Lagos to Abuja and Port Harcourt also onward connecting international flights from Lagos to Accra and Douala. International departure tax is now included in the airfares.
  Taxi
A limited number of yellow/black taxis are available, fare and tip must be agreed in advance, aim for about $25-$35 to town or check the official fares on display in the airport. Night taxis can run the risk of hijacking.
  Bus
Not available. Visitors to Lagos should arrange to be met on arrival. Large hotels have shuttle buses to meet international flight passengers. Public buses and taxis can be found after a 2 km walk out of the airport along the main road.
  Train
There is no rail station at the airport. The trains from the main line station in the city run from Lagos to Ibadan, Kano and Maiduguri
